YES: Since the MamNature® systems "Water LIME" and "Water DYNAMIZER" do not eliminate the lime, but convert it from calcite (hard) to aragonite (soft), the lime is still present. However, it is easier to clean thanks to its soft lime structure (aragonite) and can be easily removed with vinegar-based detergents.
NO (!): A 2018 study by the Thurgau Cantonal Laboratory clearly shows that water from water softeners has a critical bacterial load.

YES: As well Water Fittings / Water Treatment Devices without DVGW / SVGW-approval - as Mam Nature Water Treatement Devices - are allowed to be installed without any problems as long as these devices are suitable for this purpose are approved for drinking water installations. In general, the responsibility for the quality of drinking water goes over at the water counter from the (communal) water provider to the owner of the house together with all parties intervening in sanitary installation being in contact with drinking water.
According to §12 of the Ordinance on General Conditions for the Supply of Water (AVBWasserV), the consumer is responsible for the proper construction, extension, modification and maintenance of the system after the water meter / house cconnection. Excluded are the measuring equipment of the water supply company. If the system is rented or made available to a third party, the consumer is liable together with the third party. The facility may only be constructed, extended, modified and maintained in compliance with the provisions of this Ordinance and other legal or official provisions as well as in accordance with the generally accepted rules of technology. Only the water supply company or an installation company registered in a directory of installers of a water supply company are entitled to erect the system and make significant changes.
A brief search shows that it is often claimed that only products with the DVGW / SVGW mark comply with the rules of technology and may therefore be used. However, since 2014, paragraph 4 of the Ordinance on General Conditions for the Supply of Water has been repealed. This now means that products and devices that comply with the generally accepted rules of technology may be used. A CE marking for use in the drinking water sector is considered sufficient, unless it is mandatory. The DVGW / SVGW mark is also accepted as presumed proof of compliance with the rules of technology. Products that have been manufactured or placed on the market in other member states of the EU or in Turkey and do not comply with the technical specifications of the DVGW / SVGW mark will be treated as equivalent if they achieve the level of protection required in Germany on an equally permanent basis.
It is important to note that national certifications such as DVGW, SVGW or DIN-DVGW are voluntary for manufacturers and only provide a guess at compliance with the accepted rules of technology. With the CE marking, the manufacturer claims that his product is suitable for the intended use. However, it is the final product itself that is decisive. It is considered defective if it does not meet the expected requirements. It doesn't matter if the product is DVGW/SVGW-certified or not.
A missing DVGW / SVGW sticker alone does not constitute a defect, as proper use can still be guaranteed.
In summary, it should be noted that only water fittings that are suitable for this purpose are approved for drinking water installations. It is the responsibility of the respective consumer / user to prove whether a valve meets the requirements.
It is important that the final product meets the expected requirements, regardless of whether it has a DVGW / SVGW sticker or not.
Professional installation companies usually use tested fittings to minimise liability in the event of damage. The same applies to professional administrations. It is recommended to have the installation carried out by professional installation companies in order to avoid possible liability problems.
